On the poignant evening of Wednesday, March 20th, our Citizens Academy Alumni Association joined hands with the FBI Houston Field Office to host a profoundly moving Human Trafficking Awareness discussion.
The atmosphere was charged with emotion as a courageous survivor of human trafficking shared her harrowing journey—a narrative that resonated with raw power and unfiltered truth. Standing as a beacon of resilience, she was accompanied by twelve fellow survivors, forming an unwavering support network.
Their collective voices echoed through the room, stirring hearts and minds alike. Following this compelling presentation, the floor opened to an open forum, igniting a dialogue that delved deep into the complexities of human trafficking, leaving no stone unturned.
