Mission
The FBI Houston Citizens Academy Alumni Association (Chapter) is a non-profit tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization separate and apart from the FBI, dedicated to supporting the mission of the FBI. In our role as Ambassadors between the FBI and the Community, the Chapter supports and serves the FBI in assisting with education; bringing awareness and preparedness to the public in order to help provide for a safer community.

Jim Smith
“FBI Houston proudly supports the FBI Houston Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBIHOCAAA). Through the chapters’ continued volunteer, awareness, and outreach efforts, FBIHOCAAA has demonstrated its dedication to promoting community engagement and education. Thank you to the FBIHOCAAA members for their unwavering support of the FBI. I encourage more of you CA graduates to become active members and help us foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community. I look forward to meeting and working with you to further the mission of the FBI.”
FBI Citizens Academy
The Citizens Academy is a method used by the FBI and law enforcement agencies around the country to engage the community. Held once a year in Houston and also the Beaumont, Bryan, Corpus Christi, and Texas City, Texas resident agencies, the Citizens Academy gives community leaders, business professionals, religious leaders, and other citizens an inside look at the FBI and its operations. The program is seven to eight weeks where participants get the opportunity to meet the men and women of the FBI and gain an appreciation for the job they do. If you wish to be considered for this program, please contact the FBI at [email protected].
More information about the FBI Houston Citizens Academy can be found through the FBI Houston website at https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices/houston/community-outreach
