On March 20th, FBI Houston CAAA partnered with the Houston Airports in a Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention focused event. The primary expectation for the April 20 event was to educate as many folks as possible on the seriousness of this issue that is happening right in our backyards, and provide them with resources. It is amazing how many people and communities believe this crime takes place so far from them. Houston Airports was the major sponsor and organizer of this event. In addition, Houston Airport Rangers Program, which provides an extra layer of security to the airport perimeters and is a one-of-its-kind nationally recognized program, was featured for the community members to partake and learn more about by actually riding the horses. Our association’s logo was proudly displayed on the stage and throughout all event marketing materials.
