FBI Houston Citizens Academy Alumni Association
The end of June brought FBI Citizens Academy Alumni together in Tampa for the National Annual Leadership Conference.
Sandija Bayot, Jerry Kent and Hafeez Rangwala represented Houston well and saw some amazing presentations over the two day period.
The Conference was an inspiring and energizing gathering of leaders from across the country. From a powerful welcome by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor to meaningful updates from FBI Director Kash Patel and SAC Matthew Fodor, the message was clear: our work as alumni matters more than ever.
This conference reminded us of the power of representation, connection, and shared purpose. We exchanged best practices, discussed community engagement, and strengthened our commitment to service.
A major highlight was the moving case study on the Gabby Petito murder investigation, led by Special Agent Loretta Bush—a sobering and powerful reminder of the FBI’s critical role in protecting the vulnerable and pursuing justice.
Thank you to FBI Tampa Citizens Academy Alumni Association for all your hard work in hosting this successful conference!
