CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
Be prepared for three full days of educational programs, keynote speakers, networking events, and celebrations designed to showcase and inspire best practices in Chapter leadership. Registration opens at 8:00 am on Wednesday, June 26 followed by pre-conference training workshops for Chapter leaders from 8:30 am to noon. The full conference kicks off early Wednesday afternoon and continues through Friday evening's special networking event.
NOTE: Only registered FBI Citizens Academy alumni and FBI personnel may attend the day sessions.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Deputy Director Paul Abbate oversees all FBI domestic and international investigative and intelligence activities. He is a fierce advocate for the agency's outreach programs and its partnership with FBINCAAA.
From resource planning to finance, facilities, human resources, diversity and inclusion, security and more, Associate Deputy Director Brian Turner is responsible for the FBI's corporate business operations.
Robert Contee III, Assistant Director for the FBI's Office of Partner Engagement (OPE) oversees programs to build relationships and share information with the Bureau's law enforcement partners.
Cheyvoryea "Shea" Gibson serves as Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Detroit Field Office. Since joining the FBI in 2003, he has worked in a variety of roles overseeing investigations of violent crimes.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Conference faculty will facilitate leadership development and training programs on topics ranging from community outreach, alumni engagement, fundraising, strategic planning, and building strong FBI and community partnerships. Chapter leaders will share best practice case studies in outreach programming.
FBI CASE STUDIES
Gain an inside view of crimes investigated and solved by the FBI. Presented by agents, staff, and attorneys involved with the cases.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

$400 now through February 29, 2024
Register now and save $100 off the full conference registration rate. A discounted rate of $450 will go into effect from March 1 to April 30, with the full registration fee of $500 taking effect on May 1.
Guest Registration. You may register up to 4 guests at $175 each. Guests may attend all evening events.
HOTEL RESERVATION
The conference will be held at the MotorCity Casino Hotel. Hotel reservations must be made separately from the conference registration. You must be registered for the conference to take advantage of the special room rate of $162 per night plus taxes and fees.
These preferred rates are available through June 2, 2024; after June 2, reservations are based upon space and rate availability.

Registration is limited to FBI Citizens Academy graduates in good standing and FBI employees. The conference registration link and associated information are intended only for the use of FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association members and FBI employees.
