FBI Houston Citizens Academy Alumni Association
FBI Houston Citizens Academy Alumni Association Welcomes Record-Breaking Class of 2025The FBI Houston Citizens Academy Alumni Association recently hosted a Welcome Social for the incoming Citizens Academy Class of 2025. A record 80 students were warmly welcomed, making this the largest Citizens Academy class in the nation. This milestone is a testament to the strength of our alumni community, the dedication of our leadership, and our ongoing commitment to building trust and partnerships with the FBI and our communities. Attendees heard remarks from Alumni Association President Sandija Bayot, Special Agent in Charge Doug Williams, and several members of the FBI Houston staff. Special thanks to FBIHCAAA graduate Ben Gillis for leading the behind-the-scenes facility tour, and to Special Agent in Charge Doug Williams for his inspiring words on the importance of collaboration and partnership between the FBI and our Alumni Association in strengthening community safety and impact. We were especially honored that so many FBI Houston employees joined the Social, giving our new class the opportunity to connect not only with alumni but also with those who serve our community every day. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Houston TranStar for providing the event space and to our generous event sponsors for supplying the food and drinks that helped make the evening a success. |
